Friday 05/03

☕️🌤️⚽️ Good morning everyone! We’re back from our much needed company retreat, and hope you didn’t miss us too much. By now you probably know that the first leg of the Champions League semifinals gave us two phenomenal games. Bayern and Madrid delivered 4 goals total, heading to the second leg to be played in Spain with the aggregate score tied at 2-2. On the other side, Dortmund pulled a massive upset over PSG but PSG had plenty of chances and a 1-0 heading into the second leg might not be enough to hold PSG back for another 90 minutes.

Giveaway: Wake up and smell the coffee. Our giveaway will be a $30 gift card for our favorite coffee brand- Kickoff Coffee. As always, each friend that you refer to subscribe to the newsletter is an entry to our raffle. Best of luck!

🌮🍁Put down the syrup, hand me the salsa. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the dynamic duo behind Wrexham AFC's remarkable rise, have added another soccer team to their portfolio, acquiring a minority stake in Mexico's Club Necaxa. The Liga MX team is valued at over $200 million, and this latest move shows how the club continues to attract high-profile investors.

  • Reynolds and McElhenney's recent success with Wrexham, highlighted by another promotion up the English football tiers, has made headlines across the soccer world. Their venture into Mexico's Liga MX, one of the most competitive leagues in North America, adds a new dimension to their soccer-business interests.

The ownership group that Reynolds and McElhenney have joined is as glamorous as it is diverse. Alongside them are celebrities and athletes such as Eva Longoria, Mesut Özil, Kate Upton, Odell Beckham Jr., Justin Verlander, Victor Oladipo, Bode Miller, Richard Hamilton, and Shawn Marion. It's a collective that combines the worlds of entertainment and sports, showing the broader appeal of investing in soccer.
