Friday 05/17

☕️🌦️⚽️ Good morning everyone! Kante is widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in modern football but he has been out of the spotlight ever since his move to play in Saudi Arabia. Yesterday, the French squad for the Euros was announced, and the soccer nation was greeted with a surprise when we saw that Kante will be included in the squad. His last game for France was back in 2022, with injuries on top of no longer playing in a top 5 league, the odds of seeing him back on the international stage seemed very low, especially given the talen on the French squad.

Premier League
And Then There Were Two

🔚 🏆️ It all comes down to Championship Sunday for the Premier League. City and Arsenal last faced each other at the end of March. The game ended in a tie, giving neither team an advantage, and gifting us fans an electric Championship Sunday where it’ll come down to the final second to crown a champion. Historically, the team that went into the last match day in first place, came out on top, but don’t tell Arsenal fans that. Arsenal themselves have won their last match in the past 12 seasons, so the pressure is absolutely on City to deliver.
