🏆️ 🏆️ 🏆️ 🏆️ Pep and Manchester City make history. For the first time in Premier League history, a team has won the league consecutively 4 times. The stage was set for a dramatic last day of the league, but Manchester City quickly destroyed any hopes that Arsenal had for the trophy when they scored within the first two minutes of the game. Whenever a team is at the top for too long, the fans of the game start to lose their patience. Just ask Madrid as they eye yet another Champions League trophy. But the talent and level of soccer that City plays can’t be denied, and will be talked about for decades, regardless of the outcome of the financial fair play allegations 🤔 .

Transfer Talks
What’s the Motta Juve?

@CaughtOffSide

💨✌️Second Time Sacked, Juventus have seemed to call it quits with Massimiliano Allegri again. The club announced Friday, two days after they beat Atalanta in the Coppa Italia Final. With two games left in Serie A, Juventus gave Allegri his marching orders for his post-final behaviors. Allegri lost his cool in stoppage time when he grew angry at a decision, ripped off his jacket and earned a red card for sarcastically applauding the referee as Juventus beat Atalanta 1-0.

  •  The firing follows certain behaviors during and after the Italian Cup final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus, and the behavior that those who represent it should have,” said a representative on behalf of the club

  • Allegri was also fined $5,400 by the Serie A league judge for hurling insults and gestures toward the referees.

  • Allegri was in his second stint at Juventus, having rejoined the club in July 2021. In his first term at the Bianconeri, he won 5 straight Serie A titles from 2015-2019. His second stint comes far from his first, with only winning one trophy, the Italian Cup.

⌚️📝 👀 It’s only a Motta of time, for Juve to announced a replacement for Allegri.  Rumors have sparked that the Bianconeri club wants to hire Thiago Motta from Bologna for next season, which may have led to a rift between Allegri and the club. Thiago Motta rose to prominence this season after leading Bologna towards their first-ever Champions League qualifications. Bologna are desperate to retain Motta’s managerial services but his contract is set to expire this June, meaning he’s free to sign for a new club this summer.

  • However, reports believe that the former midfield tactician already has an agreement in principle to join Juventus

  • Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is going all in on Thiago Motta to usher in a new era in Turin

  • It’s been further reported that Thiago Motta has already picked 6 technical collaborators to join him at Juventus next season

🗣️⚪️⚫️ Fabrizio has spoken, Juventus contract proposal to Thiago Motta for next season is a three year deal, valid until June 2027. Juventus have not made contact with any other manager than Thiago Motta so far. He’s the manager they want for their new project, and the details are currently being finalized.

  • “In the coming days, I will meet with the president, and together we will make a decision and communicate it jointly. The time to do this is approaching, but it must be done internally and with great respect for everyone.” - Motta
