Stoppage Time Madness & More

🍀🔮 Arsenal Opens Up The Race. Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Manchester City was indeed a stroke of fortune, marking their first win against the Cityzens in eight years. On a day when the stars seemed to align in favor of the Gunners, the absence of key players from Manchester City's squad played a significant part in tipping the scales. The narrative of this match resonates with the unpredictable essence of football.

🔟🤺 Tottenham Survive in Luton Town With 10 Men. A 45th minute red card to Bissouma set up an uphill battle for Tottenham in the second half. An early second half goal set up a defensive display by the Spurs as they held on to a 1-0 win.

9️⃣0️⃣ Stoppage Time Madness. McTominay was the hero this weekend for United as he scored 2 goals in 4 minutes in stoppage time to comeback from a 1-0 deficit. Alex Ferguson can take a deep breath and is hoping this type of win will pause the losing form.

Brands We Love

Highlighting: Golaço Kits

👕🧑‍💻 From Pandemic Hobby to Business. Based out of Miami, Golaço Kits was started by two partners originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The brand prides themselves in being the largest vintage soccer store in the United States where “there’s a little something for everyone”.

🔢📈 The Inventory. “Unique” is the name of the game. For the Golaço Kits team, their favorite memories of the game were their Brazilian teams, Palmeiras and Sao Paulo, winning the South American international club tournament- Copa Libertadores. Their passion for jerseys lead them to build an inventory that knows no borders. Check them out on Instagram.

⏭️😎 What's Next? As the owners of the brand put it, “Don’t be afraid to start anything!”. Keep an eye as this team continues to grow, they are currently looking for their second location in Miami "that could potentially feature more than just a shop”. 👀👀

🥅🧤⚔️ Goalpost Guardian. In an unforeseen twist of fate, AC Milan's celebrated forward, Olivier Giroud, found himself guarding the goalposts against Genoa this Saturday. Following a red card shown to Milan's custodian Mike Maignan, Giroud donned the goalie gloves and stepped between the sticks in the final minutes of the match because Milan were out of substitutes.

🚫🔊👂 The Save Heard Around San Siro. Giroud's unexpected goalkeeping stint was not without its share of theatrics. His stunning save came in the dying embers of the match, ensuring AC Milan pocketed three crucial points. The crowd and his teammates erupted as Giroud thwarted Genoa's attempt to level the score, making a save that many a seasoned goalkeeper would be proud of.

🃏🎭🗺️ Jest or Journey? The post-match buzz carried a note of whimsy as AC Milan humorously enlisted Giroud as a goalkeeper on their official website for the 2023/24 season. Though seemingly a jestful nod to Giroud's versatility, this gesture celebrates an unforgettable footballing night where Giroud emerged as AC Milan's unexpected hero.
