🎄🎁Good morning crew. To celebrate or not celebrate? That’s the question that goes through players minds when they score against their former teams. Most smile after they score and put their hands up as a sign of respect to their former employer to show they are not celebrating, but then there’s the revenge goal. Joao Felix played against Atletico Madrid on Sunday—the “parent” club that loaned him off to Barcelona for the season. Let’s just say he wasted no time celebrating his goal against his former club.

Weekend Madness Roundup

Season 8 Wow GIF by The Office

😶🙌 Madness at Anfield. Liverpool found themselves losing the match 3-2 at the 82nd minute but Wataru Endo had different plans. He was subbed on at the 83rd minute and 4 minutes later produced a wonderful strike to level the game 3-3. The commentators were barely done discussing Endo’s goal when Trent Alexander brought Anfield to a roar with his game winner only a minute later.

⚔️🪖 Defending champs battle with Tottenham. City and Tottenham draw in Manchester and share points after a hard fought battle. City have been unable to get a win in their last three Premier League matches, giving up 8 goals against Chelsea, Liverpool and now Liverpool. For Tottenham, this was the first point they earned in their last 4 matches and they had quite a performance doing so. Without a doubt the most talked about moment from this match will be when the referee called an advantage after Haaland was fouled, only to blow the whistle as soon as Grealish was on a breakaway which could have been the game winner.

1️⃣0️⃣ Chelsea find a way to win it with only 10 men. Chelsea hosted Brighton on Sunday morning and were on a mission to get back to winning form, any means necessary. In the 45th minute, right before the halftime whistle, Gallagher gets a second yellow and gets sent off, leaving his team down a man for the second half—we’re sure the locker room showed their appreciation in the locker room at halftime. Despite being shorthanded, World Cup winner Enzo Fernandes lead his team to a win with a brace to stay in 10th place in the league.
